Yeah, I did it again. The Zombie rose up in the dark of the morning—6 a.m.—and attacked ye ol’ Nordrick elliptical for the third morning in a row. The fourth challenge of the Sweatember Walking Challenge moved away from the sandy beaches, and Stacie Clark, to the plains of the Serengeti. This time, Dr. Even Antin took us up in a hot air balloon to witness the Great Migration. It’s the first workout of the Serengeti Safari Series. I’d already done the first four of this 10-part series, but the views are worth a repeat.
I’ll admit, this one was tougher than expected. I only got 5 hours and 21 minutes of sleep last night—thanks, Apple sleep app, for that 41 sleep score. No idea what that means, but I know even us undead need proper rest. I’ll dive deeper into this sleep data once I tackle my other challenges.
The past three mornings of light cardio have really been game-changers. After rehydrating, downing my trusty Atkins Dark Chocolate Royale protein shake, and taking some recovery time, I’m full of energy throughout the day.
