Woke up at 4:30 ish again, surprise it was the mother-in-law rattling her gate again. Her internal clock seems to get her up around 4:00-4:30 every day. Becky gets up and takes her to the bathroom, afterwards nether of us really sleep well. I usually can’t even go back to sleep.
Breakfast was 2 scrambled eggs and a chopped up sausage patty, then headed to the gym for cardio/arms/back/abs. The cardio workout was tough. I felt like I was off my pace, my legs hurt, and I was breathing hard. It turned out that I beat Tuesday by.03 miles, so I guess I wasn’t to far off pace. It was tough though. I think the lack of sleep and stupidly low calorie intake from yesterday took a toll.
After I got home from the gym, I started thinking that I really need to find more calories without adding more fat and carbs. I decided to eat a raw carrot, something I hadn’t done since I was a wee child. I didn’t enjoy it, but didn’t gag and managed to get it down. I’m going to try to repeat the process a couple times a week.
So moving on to dinner, I sort of blew it. I was pretty hungry and wanted to make sure I had enough energy for rehearsal (a problem in the past). I heated up some Chicken Taquitos and ate too many. Well, I forgot to check the nutrition label. Had I stuck to a single serving (5 of them) I would have been fine, but I had 9 of them instead… Nothing I can do now. I’m still way under on calories, but way over my target on carbs.
Finished off the evening with an apple to help with the meds…
