I don’t remember what time I woke up, probably about 5 am, but I did get back to sleep (after going to pee). Got up at about 7:45 and showered. I had 2 eggs and sausage for breakfast. The rest of the day I finished off the bean dip from Friday.
Spent most of the day watching racing.
Went to the gym with Carrie. Did about 20 minutes of cardio on the bike. It was the first time on the bike in a couple years. It killed my thighs. Did 4 sets of crunches and then did stretching, with the help of Carrie. I’m hoping to make light cardio on Sunday a regular thing.
For dinner I had Bean & Bacon soup. I tried GNC’s chocolate “lean” meal replacement drink. Lots of protein, 3g net carbs. It tasted like chocolate diet soda.
I'm on a lifelong quest to find the perfect balance between strawberry smoothies and pizza slices. A self-proclaimed gym enthusiast who believes rest days are just as crucial as leg days—especially if they involve NASCAR racing. I lift weights, but only so I can justify my love for chocolate cake. When I'm not at the gym, you’ll find me riding dirt bikes or capturing the thrill of motorsport through my camera lens. Join me as I navigate the highs and lows of fitness, where progress is measured in reps, and cheat meals are a form of self-care.
